I have started my genealogical search. I began with my parents, Anne Mae Fields and Wilbur Connor. I was unable to get much information on Wilbur. After much effort, I was finally able to get the names of his parents, Asbury Connor and Sarah Marshall, but nothing else.
I have been able to get quite a bit of information of my mother. Her parents were Plummer Fields and Panther Talley. I was able to track down one of the descendants of Panther's sister, Josephine. The descendant's name is
